Copper Wreath Making Workshop

  • Josephine Gomersall Persistence Works, 21 Brown Street Sheffield, England, S1 2BS United Kingdom (map)

Throughout the day you will be shown step by step demonstrations of how to design and create your own unique, everlasting copper foliage, which will then be arranged and assembled to make a shiny festive wreath.

You will be using hand tools; scissors to cut the copper foil and an embossing tool to draw onto the metal sheet to emboss and texture, then forming and sculpting your leaf shapes by hand before using wire to connect the leaves to the metal ring to form the wreath.

All materials will be provided; to include an assortment of Holly, Ivy, Eucalyptus and Gingko leaf templates to chose from or you might prefer to bring your own leaf templates to use.

The wreath is suitable for wall or door mounting or can be used as a decorative table centre piece, illuminated with fairy lights or candles. There are eight places available, come by yourself or with a friend or relative for some festive craft.
